Helene Kristensen, born in 1971, is a Danish artist with a rich, globally influenced background. Her artistic journey began in childhood, with a passion for drawing and sketching that led her to pursue art classes and workshops in Denmark and the Middle East. After spending many years living in the Middle East and Asia, Helene returned to Denmark in 2016, where she began to publicly showcase her work and sold her first painting, marking the start of her professional career.

Since 2019, Helene has participated in numerous art exhibitions across Denmark, including at Gallery Langager Helnæs and Kunstdage i Kolding. In 2019, she and her husband, John Kristensen, opened their own gallery and art studio, “JHK ART GALLERY,” providing a space for her to create and exhibit her work.

Helene draws inspiration from nature, especially the botanical world, and often incorporates flowers, trees, and abstract elements into her art. Her fascination with Egyptology also plays a significant role in her work, with religious symbols frequently appearing in her pieces. She enjoys experimenting with contrasts, using mixed media and collage techniques, and working primarily with acrylics on canvas, often enhanced with charcoal, gold ink, and oil pastels.

Helene’s art has gained recognition both in Denmark and internationally, with her pieces being sold across Europe and Australia, reflecting her growing influence in the art world.
